FIVE people abandoned a boat after it started to sink near Weymouth today.
Coastguards said Sea Beav Too started taking on water in Ringstead Bay.
It drifted towards the shore and the five aboard abandoned ship and got to the beach safely.
They were picked up from the beach by a police boat.
Due to rough seas in the Ringstead area, rescue teams did not move the vessel and the owner will have to decide what to do with it.
