LORD Fellowes of West Stafford and his wife Emma showed their support for Julia’s House children’s hospice as they hosted the West Stafford Fete.

Members of the Dorchester Friends of Julia’s House set up a stall at the fete and raised nearly £150 through a raffle, tombola and selling merchandise.

The raffle was drawn by costume design students from Bournemouth University.

As well as a wide range of stalls and entertainment there was live music for visitors to enjoy throughout the event.

Sue Cull from the Dorchester Friends of Julia’s House said: “It was great, the worst of the rain held off and it was well attended.”

She also praised Lord Fellowes and his wife for their support, saying: “They were both very good to us.”

The group’s next fundraiser will be a quiz night at the Colliton Club in Dorchester on October 26.
