Woman and child rescued from car after flood

A WOMAN and her nine-year-old son were rescued from their car after it got stuck in floodwater in west Dorset.
Firefighters were alerted to Gasson Lane, Whitchurch Canonicorum at noon today.
Rescuers had to help the pair due to increasing levels of flood water entering the vehicle.
Neither sustained any injuries but were left a little shaken.
