A FUNDRAISING group is organising a live music night at Weymouth Pavilion to support Julia’s House.
Well-known local bands The Stereoironics, Replay and Mr Bucket will be performing on Saturday October, 20 at 7.30pm.
It’s being put together by The Baldies, a group of women inspired who shaved their heads for a fundraising calendar after being inspired by their friend Anne-Marie Male who was battling breast cancer.
The calendar raised £33,000 for mammography equipment at Dorset County Hospital .
Tickets for the music night are £5 and ticket holders will automatically be entered into a competition to win concert tickets to see rock band The Script.
All profits will go towards the Dorset children’s hospice Julia’s House at Corfe Mullen.
