POLICE are probing the death of a man who fell over in the street in Weymouth and later died in hospital.
A man aged 25 has been arrested in connection with the incident and police are appealing to the community for information.
Detectives said a 44-year-old man was seen to fall over in Turton Street, near the Duke of Albany pub, on Sunday night.
He suffered a life threatening injury to his head and died in hospital.
Detective Inspector Stewart Dipple of Weymouth CID, said: “This is a very sad incident and we are keen to establish the facts.”
