Guards injured in cash van robbery in Dorset

Two security guards were attacked in a robbery on a cash delivery van outside a Poole building society.
Detectives are hunting for two suspects who used a bladed and a heavy weapon at around 10.20pm on Monday outside the Nation-wide on Ashley Road, Parkstone. The guards suffered minor injuries and some money was stolen.
Police would like to hear from any witnesses who saw suspicious activity or vehicles parked up or moving off at speed. Call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
