PEOPLE across Dorset can have their say on plans to improve health and wellbeing in the county.
The Health and Wellbeing Board, which aims to tackle inequalities across the population will come into operation next year.
A list of priorities and principles has been drawn up to guide the work of the board, and people can now have their say on this strategy.
Dorset’s Health and Wellbeing Board was established earlier this year and will take on statutory powers in April 2013.
Made up of local council members and officers, GPs and representatives from the voluntary sector, it will set out to improve joint working across different agencies.
Public consultation on the strategy will run until November 2. Access a copy by contacting Lucy Johns, on 01305 224388 or visitconsultationtracker. dorsetforyou.com/JHWS.
