Dorset teen set for Peru conservation work

A DORSET teen has set her sights on helping with conservation work in Peru.

Robyn Perham, 18, will be travelling to the South American country with volunteer organisation Projects Abroad.

The Gillingham resident will be spending three months doing conservation work there.

She will be taking pictures of Dorset with her to show people on the Peru project where she is from.

Robyn, who has just completed a pre-university course, said she was excited about the challenge.

She said: “This is a big challenge for me personally.”

Director of Projects Abroad, Peter Slowe said: “We are really pleased Robyn is doing this.

“Peru destination are looking forward very much to meeting her – and they definitely want her to bring some pictures of Dorset with her.”
