Lifeboat comes to the aid of injured crewman

A CREWMAN was taken to hospital after suffering an arm injury while on board a boat outside Portland Harbour.
The Ukrainian, who was working on the cargo vessel Arne, was transferred to the Weymouth Lifeboat and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Portland Coastguard put the Arne in contact with a doctor at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth yesterday afternoon and it was suspected the crewman had a broken or dislocated arm.
