So sad that after the positive stories of the Olympics and Paralympics in these waters with the flags still flying a tragic accident and loss should occur.
Thoughts and Prayers for all concerned

Very sad, our condolences to his family and friends. We saw it unfold from the bridge of the Waverley the emergency services both on land and at sea were brilliant, such a sad loss.

Condolences to both mens families and friends.
Sadly, we read Mike Lovell has lost his fight for life, despite the fact a S.W. Ambulance Paramedic treated him in the Coastguard helicoptor enroute to Southampton.
We can only hope and pray Dan Whapples makes a speedy recovery.
To Mike, RIP mate.
