TIME IS running out for Dorset charities hoping to get their hands on a cash boost.
US media firm Gannett that owns the Dorset Echo’s publisher Newsquest is offering registered charities the chance, through the charitable arm of the company, to benefit from grant money to put towards good causes that benefit the community.
The Gannett Foundation Grant awards are now open for this year.
Applicants must enter their submissions electronically by 5pm on Friday, September 21.
For an application form email newsdesk@dorsetecho.co.uk, then simply save the document, fill it in and email it back attached to an email.
Please note applications will not be considered if they are from non registered charities, intended to fund salaries or general running costs, general appeals as opposed to specific projects, political or regional organisations or state or privately owned schools – except special needs schools, or hospitals other than hospices.
