INVENTIVE under 25s from Dorset are being sought to come up with fundraising ideas for the British Red Cross.

The Hundred 2 Hundreds challenge invites young people to make a bid for £100 from the charity, explaining how they will use it to make hundreds more. Entries will be judged by a panel and the winners will be awarded the money.

Red Cross community fundraising support manager Patricia Dillon said: “Hundred 2 Hundreds is great because it works on so many levels. It helps us to raise funds for our lifesaving work, both abroad and here in the UK, but it’s also great for the young people who get involved.”

Applicants for Hundred 2 Hundreds must be aged between 15 and 25. Deadlines for applications are November 16, 2012 March 15 and June 14, 2013 at 5pm.
