Mountain bike stolen from Weymouth courtyard

A mountain bike was stolen from a Nothe courtyard.

The silver and black Raleigh mountain bike was stolen between 1.30pm on September 28 and 1.30pm on September 29, from Wellington Court, near the Nothe.

Witness and anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious should call Dorset Police on 101.

When will people remember to lock things out of sight or to something immovable with a decent padlock and chain.

At least the Littlemoor residents didn't set fire to it, which seems to be their current favourite activity ;-)

Hopefully the person will shortly be reunited with with their bike. The bike might have been locked up out of sight - the article doesn't make that clear. I have had bikes stolen from my house and garage while living down here :-(

There is a bike chained to a lamp post in Bridport Road ( near St Johns Ambulance) answering that description. It appeared here over the weekend in question. Police have been informed
