A boat was towed to harbour by the lifeboat.
Late yesterday night (Tuesday 2) the motor catamaran Dajo was towed into West Bay harbour by the Lyme Regis lifeboat.
The vessel had been on its way from Dartmouth to Chatham via Portland. Two people were onboard, one with little maritime experience, and in the bad weather the vessel could not make it into Lyme Regis harbour as planned.
The lifeboat towed them to West Bay to await better weather conditions.
