DISABLED children and their families in the Weymouth area are set for a splashing good time this weekend Swimming is just one of the events at a fun day designed to allow parents and children to experience a range of activities together.
Organised by independent care provider Regard, Saturday’s event includes swimming, a visit to the cinema and a trip to Moors Valley Country Park.
The fun days, which cater for primary, secondary, youth and youngsters with sensory needs, are being held throughout October and November. Regards’ Yvonne Bray, said: “It’s a chance for families to take a break from their daily routine and let their hair down for the day.”
