Firefighters called to Portland oven blaze

Firefighters were alerted to a smoke alarm sounding at a house in the Wakeham of Portland this afternoon.
On arrival shortly before 2pm, they found an oven to be ablaze.
Cooking was removed from the appliance and the property was ventilated.
