FOUR teenagers have been arrested following a spate of criminal damage on Portland.
Police are appealing for witnesses after windows and a vehicle were vandalised in an early morning spree.
Two 15-year-old boys, a 14-year-old boy and another boy aged 13 are helping police with their enquiries.
It comes after windows and a vehicle were damaged at premises in Weston Street, Reap Lane, the Straits and Bumpers Lane, Tophill, in the early hours of Saturday.
Police said all four of those arrested are from Portland.
Police Sergeant Sam Goom, of Portland Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “There has been an increase in reports of criminal damage on Portland over recent weeks and the Portland Safer Neighbourhood Team has been working hard with the community to address their concerns.”
He added: “It is believed that this most recent occurrence may be linked to alleged criminal damage that occurred earlier in September – where several vehicles along Park Road were damaged.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101.
