THE Eat Dorset Food Fair is being held at Parnham House in Beaminster on October 13 and 14.

The line-up includes Masterchef winner Mat Follas, celebrity chef Lesley Waters and Steven Lamb of River Cottage.

Others include Lee Streeton of Hix’s Albemarle Restaurant in London, Brett Sutton of The Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne and Lee Moreton of the Dorset Charcuterie Co.

Victoria Blashford Snell, Aidan Chapman and Guisseppe Sinaguglia will be holding demonstrations.

Mrs Waters will be running a pop-up cookery school. Mr Follas and Mr Sinaguglia are running Children’s Chefs Masterclasses for children aged 11 to 16. Mr Chapman will bread making with children of all ages.

Other children’s activities include cake decorating, kite making, face painting and storytelling. Food to eat will come from such venues as the Hive Beach Cafe, Dorset Sushi and the Bridge House Hotel.

There will be more than 60 producers highlighting the quality and diversity of the produce from Dorset and the surrounding counties. It is open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14.
