Road closed after crash in Dorchester

POLICE closed a main road for nearly three hours after a crash between a lorry and a car.
The incident happened at around 10pm on Tuesday night on the A35 near to Monkey's Jump roundabout.
Around 300 litres of diesel oil leaked from the yellow Daf Heavy Tractor Artic following the collision with a blue Honda Civic, registered to a woman from Dorchester.
Fire crews, paramedics and the local authority attended the scene and the road was reopened at 12.40am this morning. No one was injured.
