JAMAICAN sunshine will be shining on Dorchester at a themed evening as part of Black History Month.
An ‘Old Skool Reggae Night’ will be held to mark 50 years of Jamaican independence at an event at the Corn Exchange, and music, food and drinks will be a key part of celebrations.
Anne Marie Vincent, chair of the South West Dorset Multicultural Network, who are hosting the event, said: “We are really pleased that this is taking place in Dorchester.”
The event is free and takes place on Saturday, October 13. Caribbean food and drink will be on sale.
