EMERGENCY services were scrambled to Portland Port when a crewman on a cargo vessel was reported to be having a heart attack.
Paramedics and Wyke coastguard rescue officers were called to the Stena Hibernia at Q Pier yesterday evening, where a 46-year-old Polish man was suffering symptoms of a heart attack.
The man was brought ashore to the jetty and was then taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester by ambulance.
