AN ICONIC Dorset landmark has been brought into the digital age with the launch of a new game for youngsters.
iTrust Dorset, aimed at 11-16 year olds, leads players around the ruins of Corfe Castle and explores its history.
The free activity, which can be played during half-term week, can be downloaded onto an iPhone, android or GPS device before visiting the castle, or a handset can be borrowed. It has been devised by Community Interest Company South West Artwork and social enterprise Brilliant Fish PR & Marketing in association with the National Trust in Dorset.
Director of South West Artwork Laura Mulhern said: “We were looking to bring digital creativity together with the wonderful heritage in our area and to encourage younger people to get involved in a way that appeals to them.”
