A BROADWEY couple have described the amazing moment they met their first daughter.
Samantha Sheppard, 29, and Colin Judge, 27, welcomed Amelia Marie Judge into their lives on January 9 at Dorset County Hospital, weighing 7lbs and 15oz. Little Amelia Marie arrived nine days early after Samantha was induced. Both mum and baby are doing well. Amelia was born with a full head of hair and is eating well.
Mum Samantha said Amelia looks like her daddy. She described the amazing life-changing moment she met her daughter for the first time.
She said: “It was a lovely moment.”
She added: “She’s my biggest achievement in life so far. It’s a big life changing moment. You are instantly in love with someone you have only just met.”
The couple would like to thank all their family and friends for their support and also the midwife team including midwife Sophie Wilson and student midwife Rachel McWilliams.
