FAMILY and staff gathered to celebrate the 101st birthday of Winnie Woodsford.
Staff at the Queen Charlotte nursing home in Chickerell and family celebrated with a cream tea, cake, banners and balloons, for Mrs Woodsford’s birthday.
Her daughter Mirtle Cheeseman and son Brian Woodsford said they had a lovely day and the staff had looked after them all very well.

She met her husband Jack, while they were both working on a dairy farm in Martinstown.
The couple married and had children, Mirtle and Brian.

She said they had a very happy family and were very close.
