Friends and family are celebrating after the baptism of Francisco Windsor at the Parish Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea in Weymouth.
Prince Francisco William Fernandez Windsor was born on November 10, 2013, and more than 20 close friends and family attended the baptism at the church on July 6, conducted by the Rev Geoffrey Carey.
The ceremony was particularly special for mum Fedeline Windsor as she requested a traditional Philippine ceremony passed down through many generations of her family, and it took place on the same day her late grandparents were baptised in the 1940s.
Francisco’s family said they wanted to pass on ‘tremendous thanks’ to everyone who attended, and to those who sent cards, presents and messages.
They also said they were grateful to Father William Wilson from Our Lady Immaculate Church in Bournemouth for his guidance, and Father Stephen Geddes and Anne Hall for their help in arranging the baptism date.
They also thanked photographers Justin and Kat Glynn for the photos.
