PROUD parents Linda and Jeff Martin from Reedling Close, Weymouth, welcomed the birth of their first child, Sophie Amelia Martin.
Little Sophie weighed 7lbs 2ozs and was born at 1.32pm on Wednesday, June 11 at Dorset County Hospital.
Mum Linda said: “Sophie is a really happy baby, eats well and sleeps most of the night.
“We have already taken Sophie swimming at our local swimming pool and she really seems to enjoy the water. It is absolutely amazing being parents.”
Proud grandparents Mervyn and Rosemary Sharp of Radipole, Weymouth, said that they are absolutely delighted with the new addition to the family, and are very pleased for them all.
Linda and Jeff would like to thank their family and everyone at Dorset County Hospital for all of their support and help.
