A WEYMOUTH woman has won a national award for her work with Ann Summers.

Rachel Daniels, 44, of Clearmount Road, joined the company as a party planner in 2007 and made an impression in her first year, winning her first award for personal sales.

She went on to become a team leader and in her seven-year career gained many more awards and achievements including an all-expenses paid trip to New York and dinner with Jacqueline Gold at her family home.

In a glamorous awards ceremony at the Gold’s family estate Rachel was crowned Ann Summers’ Leader of the Year 2014 and following the celebrations she was whisked back to her hotel in the Gold’s Rolls Royce.

Rachel said: “It still really hasn’t sunk in, but I’m over the moon! The Ann Summers family are just amazing at recognising great work and I want to take other ladies on the same journey. I would love to see more local ladies receiving the same benefits I have.”
