NEWLYWEDS Gavin Spiller, 33, and Leanne Critchell, 31, were married at St George’s Church in Fordington surrounded by more than 200 family and friends.
The pair, originally from Dorchester, met five years ago at a nightclub in the town and Gavin proposed to Leanne during a trip to Sherwood Forest.
The local government workers held their reception at Charlton Down village hall and had a three-tier Weymouth football club-themed claret and blue coloured cake.
They also had a second ‘cake’, made up of different kinds of cheese layered on top of each other.
The happy couple thanked everyone who made their day special, including Gavin’s sister and bridesmaid Karen Spiller and best man Nick Hosford.
Mr and Mrs Spiller will now honeymoon in Sri Lanka and the Maldives in January.
