A COUPLE celebrated their perfect day after literally falling for each other.

Jenny Cahill, 23, from Buckland Newton and Ashley James, 26, from Dorchester met eight years ago on a night out in Weymouth when the bride tripped over the groom’s foot.

The couple have been together ever since and had their first baby, Alfie James, in August.

They had the perfect country wedding in a marquee at the Gaggle of Geese at Buckland Newton after getting married in Buckland Newton Church.

They were surrounded by their family and friends as well as goats and chickens at the reception.

The bride said it was a fantastic day. She said: “It’s lovely to be married. It was a really lovely day.”

Mrs James added that the couple would like to give a big thank you to their parents for all their help.

She said: “They were the ones that really made it happen for us, we couldn’t have done it without them.”

The couple spent their honeymoon in the New Forest and are looking forward to having their first family holiday next year.
