CENTENARIAN Cyril Sanders celebrated his 100th birthday at Grassington House Residential Care Home in Prince of Wales Road in Dorchester.

DEDICATED Phyllis Tucker has retired from St Mary’s Middle School, Puddletown, after working as a cleaner for more than 30 years. The school presented her with a cheque and bouquet at a retirement party. She is pictured with site manager Mr Matthew and deputy headteacher Mr Hilborne.

Bazaar raises cash

MEMBERS of the One World Group from the Our Lady Star of the Sea parish raised £965 for charity. The money was raised at a Christmas bazaar at St Augustine’s Church Hall in Dorchester Road, Weymouth. The money was in aid of the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD) and church charities.
