Bowlers roll for hospice

CYNTHEA Read was bowled over with donations of £525 at her president's day in Dorchester.
Mrs Read, who is president of the Dorset County Ladies Indoor Bowling Association, held the fundraiser in aid of the children's hospice Julia's House.
The event, which included a raffle, was held at Dorchester Bowling Club.
During her presidential year, a total of £711 has been handed to Julia's House.
Mrs Read said she wanted to thank all of Dorset's lady indoor bowlers'.
