A TAIZÉ service with the theme of Candlemas will begin at 6pm tomorrow at St Mary’s Church, Dorchester. Organisers say it will be a period of quiet reflection, prayers and chants.

There will also be a Candlemas service at 10.15am at Weymouth’s Holy Trinity Church and at St Nicholas’ Church in the town at 6.30pm.

A SALE will take place between 10.30am and noon next Saturday at St Augustine’s Church, Dorchester Road, Weymouth. Entrance is 50p including coffee and biscuits.

A SERVICE of midday prayers and reflection will begin at noon on Friday at Weymouth’s Holy Trinity Church, followed by refreshments.
