PLAYS with a Christian theme will be performed at all primary schools in Weymouth and Portland borough as part of the Spring into Life project. Churches in the borough have worked together to host the performances by the Saltmine Theatre Company. The next performance is taking place today at St John’s School in Lodmoor, Chickerell School and St Nicholas’ School, Broadwey. Mr Parmar will discuss karma, reincarnation and the Upanishads in the Tolpuddle room of Dorchester United Church at 7.30pm tomorrow. WEYMOUTH’S Christian Aid committee is holding a Lenten lunch with coffee until 2pm today at St Mary’s Church, Weymouth. Lunch will cost £1.50 for soup and a roll.
ST LAURENCE’S Church’s annual quiz will begin in the Upwey Old School at 7pm on Friday. The questions will be on the theme of the date of the quiz.
