WOMEN will be given flowers after Mothering Sunday services in Weymouth tomorrow (Sun). Blooms will be
distributed after the 10.30am family service at the Weymouth Salvation Army Citadel, Westham Road. The service will be led by Lt Col John Pearce Hayden and all are welcome. Women will also be given flowers at the 9.30am and 11.15am services at St Paul's Church, Abbotsbury Road.

SALISBURY Cathedral Choir will travel to St Nicholas' Church, Abbotsbury, to perform a concert of sacred music to raise much-needed funds for the smaller St Peter's Church in nearby Langton Herring. The concert will begin on Monday (3/1) at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 per adult and £4 for children under 12 and are available from organiser Judy Barrett on 01305 871286.

AN EVENING event entitled 'God? What's that all about?' will begin in the Aqua Bar, Haven Weymouth Bay Holiday Park, Preston
Road, Weymouth on Tuesday (4/3) at 7.30pm. Members of the New Covenant Church, Weymouth organised the event as part of the
Christianity Explored programme. There will be a buffet supper, a short DVD and a chance for
questions and a chat until around 9.15pm.

A UGANDAN meal will be served at West Stafford village hall, Dorchester, in aid of the Nagongera village well
project. Villager Pennie Bongamin will also visit and deliver a talk on the village and the well, which could supply six other nearby villages with water once installed. The meal will begin next Saturday (8/3) at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7.50 per adult and £3 for children under 16 and are available from Maureen Shaw on 01305 261771.

A SPRING fayre will begin at Radipole United Reformed Church, Spa Road, Weymouth next Saturday (8/3) at 2.30pm. There will be an Easter egg hunt, games and competitions and stalls selling bric-a-brac, home-made cakes, books and refreshments.
A BRIC-A-BRAC sale will begin at St Joseph's Church hall, Stavordale Road, Weymouth at 10am next Saturday (8/3).
