 |
| Singing in the rain |
Sue Melville and Heather Stevens, members of Abbotsbury Residents Corps(ARC) took a group of elderly residents and friends with Sarah the Community Police Support Officer on a visit to the gardens.
Despite the odd shower and claps of thunder causing everyone to dash for shelter, a joyful afternoon was had by all in this most gorgeous of settings. Everyone warmed up with tea and scones in the Colonial teahouse.
The residents were unanimous in their thanks to ARC for their generosity of spirit, Abbotsbury Tourism for giving free entry and Age Concern for the The Dorset Association for the Disabled minibus and Michael the driver.
