Film at the village hall this saturday
THE next Moviola presentation at the Village Hall is this Saturday starting at 7.30pm.
The film is December Boys (12A) a gentle tale set in 1960's Australia.
Misty, Spark, Spit and Maps (Daniel Radcliffe) are a close knit band of four adolescent orphans known as the December Boys because they all have the same birth month.
The boys' hope of ever being adopted grows slimmer with each passing year and it isn't until their first summer away from the orphanage that the fading hope of finding parents becomes a real possibility - for one of them.
Remember that at Bradford Peverell Moviola you also get a short film and an interval when tea coffee and biscuits are available.
All this in addition to comfortable raked seating!
Do come if you can and please book your seat in advance by ringing Bryan or Sue on 01305 268156
THIS Saturday too is the Bradford Peverell sponsored walk in aid of the three village charities.
You can choose your walk either six miles or 10 miles.
Registration is at the bus shelter at 10.15 ready for a 10.30 start.
Children welcome accompanied by an adult and please bring your own refreshments.
Sponsorship forms available from Barbara on 01305 269403 or you can donate on the day.
