Join our community spring clean this Sunday
THE Chickerell community litter team are planning a community spring clean this Sunday, April 20.
They will be meeting at the Willowbed Hall at 2pm and all equipment, gloves, sacks, will be provided but please do remember to wear suitable clothes and footwear appropriate to the ever changing weather.
They have divided the area into four circular routes to make it a more interesting walk and they will need four teams of volunteers.
They are looking for old and young volunteers but children must be accompanied by an adult.
After the hard work the volunteers are invited to gather in the council suite where tea and coffee and homemade cakes will be served for a welcome social get together.
Please go along and support them.
Residents are also being asked to abide by the residents' voluntary code and are requested to help by making sure the surround of your home is litter free, including the adjacent pavement and kerb.
If you have any questions or any doubts on the day about the weather please ring the community litter team, Lisa-Marie on 830309, Jean 787557 or Brian on 770678.
