Second Christmas lunch greatly enjoyed
THE Waterside Luncheon Club held its second Christmas lunch, this time at the Railway Tavern, Queens Street, were we had a great menu turkey and all the trimmings.
Our thanks go to Paul, Lyn and staff for an excellent meal.
We were pleased to have the Mayor and Mayoress David and Jenny Harris. I think everybody enjoyed the occasion and we look forward to seeing many more people at the next Luncheon Club. We hold them on the first Wednesday of the month the next being at Maguire's Fish and Chip shop, In February we will be at The Somerset, Queens Street, March the second anniversary of the club back to where it started The New Vic. In April we will be returning to the Café Royal on the Esplanade and back to the Railway Tavern in April.
