As Autumn gets underway, now is a good time to divide your hardy perennials and make some money by selling any surplus plants or seedlings at our plant sale, Angie adds.
The usual rules apply:
* It would be helpful if you could let Jenny Beedle or Angie Talbot know in advance if you require a table.
* The hall will be open from about 9.45am for you to set out your stall.
* We will sell your plants for you if you cannot be there but please put prices on the plants for us.
*Ten per cent of your takings to the village hall funds.
Book swapping will take place as usual.
There are lots of interesting titles to swap, also a growing collection of films on DVDs and video tapes.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.
Thank you to all those who have brought vegetables and plants to sell through the summer months.
We look forward to seeing you all on October 11.
These can be purchased in advance at a cost of £3.50 from Philippa Thorniley by telephoning 01929 471 497.
