  • SINCE its inaugural meeting in April 2008, the Tolpuddle art group has met at monthly intervals on Friday mornings from 10am until noon to develop members' interests in drawing and painting - principally watercolour so far.

Under the general guidance of John Grant, the group has enthusiastically explored materials and techniques in composing landscape and still life pictures including colour mixing and perspective problems.

The group is now approaching the hall's capacity to accommodate a maximum of two dozen members, but prospective new members are welcome at any time, providing they may have to join a waiting list!

Active members pay £10 for any three meetings they attend.

There will be a small charge for the hall, but this depends on numbers, and is not likely to be more than £2.
