This was presented to playgroup manager Tracy George by forester Elaine Standfield at the recent dog show put on by Ragamuffins to raise funds for new equipment for the group.
The Foresters make a number of donations to various charities each year.
The playgroup is also organising a Christmas Fair during November.
This will incorporate a table-top sale, things for Christmas, face painting, lucky dip, cakes, etc.
Volunteers are needed to help, and also tables are available for anyone wishing to run their own stalls.
Contact Tracy at the playgoup if you are interested by telephoning 01929 472125.
Puddletown
This is the occasion when the association reviews the past year, elects officers for 2008-2009, receives annual subscriptions (£3), and members receive their new programmes.
After the business part of the evening, there will be a two-course meal with wine or soft drinks and general socialising.
Contact Pat Alford on 01305 848746 for tickets.
The event is being organised by local DJs Ray and Elaine Preston from Milborne St Andrew to say a big thank you to the marvellous staff at the coronary care unit of Dorset County Hospital for the dedication and skill they showed to Ray when he was admitted in March with a complete heart block and needed to be resuscitated twice.
Ray and Elaine are retiring after 12 years of supplying discos in the local area.
The music night promises to be a night to remember with live music from Majesty.
There will also be a licensed bar and refreshments available.
Tickets cost £5, and are available by telephoning Ray on 01258 837509 or Tony on 01305 848933.
All proceeds from the event will be presented to the coronary care unit at DCH.
