AT THE recent annual parochial meeting of St Laurence Church, Pru Bollam and Paul Sutcliffe were again appointed as churchwardens and the various other duties and responsibilities were shared amongst members of the congregation.

THE New Year started with a hearty banging, clashing and shouts of 'Nurdle-Ho!' as our Nurdlers, led by Albert the Tall, set off on their expedition from the Old Ship to the top of the Ridgeway and over the hill cheered on by a goodly crowd on a brilliant sunny morning.

A VERY large congregation turned out for the traditional Candlelight Carol Service at St Laurence Church and most particularly enjoyed the Dorset carols sung by the choir to the accompaniment of a small but very interesting orchestra.
