STEPHEN ROBERT CARTER, aged 42, of Wyke Road. Admitted stealing one bottle of Old Westminster sherry valued at £5. Discharged conditionally for 6 months and ordered to pay £5 costs.

ANTHONY MATTHEWS, aged 24, of Buddleia Close. Admitted driving a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in blood was 106 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. Also admitted using a passenger vehicle with tyres with insufficient tread – less than 1.6mm. Fined £450 and ordered to pay £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 14 months.

JACK WILLS, aged 19, of Dorchester Road. Admitted to receiving stolen goods, namely a Land Rover of a value unknown, knowing or believing it to be stolen. Also admitted to using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance. Also admitted to driving a motor vehicle which had been taken without the owner’s consent. Community order with requirement to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Licence endorsed with six points.

SIMON SHERIDAN HOLVEY, aged 42, of no fixed abode. Admitted at Weymouth two separate charges of assault by beating. Committed to prison for two months forthwith and two restraining orders made.

LUKE BUCHANAN BERRY, aged 20, of no fixed abode. Admitted at Weymouth using threatening words and behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment. Restraining order made and fined £100. To be detained in the courthouse. Also admitted breach by committing a further offence whilst subject to order of a conditional discharge for 18 months.

JOSEPH EKE, aged 19, of St Lawrence Road. Admitted to handling stolen goods including a Carrera Kraken Pedal Cycle to the value of £449.99 knowing it to be stolen. Community order with supervision requirement for 12 months. Required to take part in an Employment Training and Education (ETE) programme for 10 days. Fined £10 and ordered to pay £200 in compensation.

DANIEL SHORT, aged 20, of Lennox Street. Admitted to theft from a shop, stealing a Carrera Kraken pedal cycle to the value of £449.99. Also admitted to fraud by false representation attempting to sell the pedal cycle. Committed to prison for eight weeks forthwith concurrent.
