ALAN HARTLEY, aged 61, of Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth. Admitted causing unnecessary reversing of motor vehicle. Fined £260 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

PAUL SIMPSON, aged 49, of Regency Drive, Weymouth. Proved in absence of exceeding 30mph on a restricted road, caught travelling at 48mph. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

JASON MATTHEW INSKIP, aged 43, of no fixed abode. Appeared at Weymouth and admitted to committing assault by beating. Also admitted committing a further offence whilst subject to order of conditional discharge for 12 months imposed in May 2014 at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court for an offence of harassment – breach of a restraining order on restriction. Discharged conditionally for six months.

DENVER LUKE BAILEY, aged 20, of Southview Road, Weymouth. Admitted possessing a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B. Also admitted committing a further offence whilst subject to order of conditional discharge for 12 months imposed in July 2014 at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court for the offences of possessing a controlled drug of class B and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £30 costs.

DAVID ANDREW THOMSON, aged 27, of no fixed abode. Appeared at Weymouth and admitted to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. Discharged conditionally for six months.

DONNA CHICK, aged 39, of Fiveways Court, Benville Road, Weymouth. Admitted to persistently using a public communication network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another person. Committed to prison for eight weeks concurrent suspended for 12 months. The defendant must attend appointments with the responsible officer as part of a six month supervision requirement. Also admitted to failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings in September 2014. Committed to prison for one week consecutive to offence number one, suspended for 12 months. Overall length of sentence is nine weeks. Also admitted to committing four separate offences of harassment without violence against four individuals. Two restraining orders made for the defendant.

STEPHEN LEE MARTIN KENT, aged 52, of St Edmund Street, Weymouth. Admitted to theft from a shop to the value of £113.91. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for six months.

ANDREW MARTIN READ, aged 28, of Chapelhay Street, Weymouth. Admitted to harassment – breach of a restraining order on conviction. Also admitted to another count of harassment – breach of a restraining order on conviction. Community order made. The defendant must be under curfew for two months between 7pm and 7am daily. As part of the curfew, the defendant is to be electronically monitored.

Also admitted committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order made by Weymouth Magistrates’ Court in January 2014 for two offences of assault by beating and a count of criminal damage. Original suspended sentence imposed varied. Suspended sentence now committed to prison for three months suspended for 12 months.
