Alex Grant tries stonemasony at Careers College
Students had the opportunity at Weymouth College to have a taster session of what it would be like to be a stonemason and learned the basic skills of stone carving. Alex Grant, aged 15, from All Saints School, filled us in with all the gritty details.
He commented that it could be a possible future career for him as he liked the practical side of learning.
He exclaimed: “Stone masonry rocks!”
