SCHOOL pupils aim to spread the word about education for all.

Beechcroft St Paul’s Primary students are taking part in the Millennium Goals project that aims to address extreme poverty.

As part of their work on goal two, education for all, pupils joined a ‘send a friend to school’ campaign and designed their ideal teacher.

They sent their work to South Dorset MP Richard Drax, pictured with the pupils, with letters asking him to encourage the Prime Minister to spread their message around the world. Impressed with the pupil’s work, he replied to individuals and arranged to visit the school.

During the visit, Mr Drax told the children he had sent their letters and model to the Prime Minister and was waiting for a response.

The children asked Mr Drax a lot of in depth questions, which he answered in detail. Mr Drax said they will in the future have the power to make the changes.
