TOTS from Weymouth College's nursery are celebrating a good Ofsted report.
Youngsters at Jelly Babies Nursery are receiving an all-round good service, inspectors concluded.
Their report commends the nursery's quality of care, children's education, partnership with parents and its excellent care for children with additional needs.
Inspectors noted that children are given a variety of planned activities as well as independent play.
The report said: Children's individual needs are met very well in the nursery. Staff give lots of individual support, quiet reassurance and cuddles and there is a calm and gentle atmosphere in the nursery.' Security measures at the nursery were also given the thumbs-up by Ofsted.
Supervision in all rooms was noted as good, with lots of adult support, and the way staff ensure each child is safe and protected was also applauded.
The report highlighted that children achieve well and enjoy what they do.
Inspectors also thought the nursery was smoothly organised and that staff are approachable and good role models for children.
Nursery manager Nicky Randell said: "We are fully committed to meeting the needs of all the children here and giving them a happy, secure learning environment."
College principal Sue Moore said: "I am delighted to see such a glowing Ofsted report for the nursery and recognition for its good work - it is a fantastic place where the children are cared for with lots of exciting activities to foster and develop their learning."
