Get your nominations in for achievement awards
TIME is running out to nominate someone for the learndirect Achievement Awards.
The accolades are to recognise people who have learned new skills with learndirect or have been helped by a learndirect centre to change their lives.
Employees who have benefited from a learndirect course are also encouraged to join in.
Students and businesses are urged to hit the deadline for the learndirect Achievement Awards of March 28.
Amy Armstrong, who is the learndirect regional performance director for the South West, is urging people to get involved.
"By making a nomination for the learndirect Achievement Awards, local people, businesses and learning centres can help celebrate the success of learners in the South West and reward all those who have made the effort to develop new skills."
Awards ceremonies will be taking place across the country in June to celebrate regional winners.
Winners will walk away with a trophy, certificate and a chance to learn a brand-new skill such as cordon bleu cooking or flying lessons.
Regional winners will be put forward as finalists to a national awards ceremony in London and are in with the chance of winning an 'experience day'.
Winning businesses and learndirect centres could receive a £500 cash prize to help towards revamping their learning facilities.
Anyone can nominate for one of nine prize categories, including the Outstanding Learner Award. Go to www.learndirect.co.uk/awards
