Positive week for learning
ADULT Learners' Week is being held on May 17 to 23.
It is being organised by the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE).
The aim is to give people a taste of education in colleges, workplaces and community and adult education centres.
During last year's week more than 8,000 events took place nationwide.
Rachel Thomson, senior campaigns officer at NIACE, said: "Adult Learners' Week is the perfect time for you to see the kind of positive impact that learning can have on your life."
Go to the Adult Learners' Week website at www.alw.org.uk or call learndirect free on 0800 100 900.
