Innovators go head to head

YOUNG Enterprise companies are continuing to grow and develop in Dorset.

The young companies are now refocusing after Christmas and researching their final products, some of which are very innovative. They include USB and technical gadgets, parties, mugs, beauty products, and games, but to name a few.

Young Enterprise companies hoping to make it though the National Business and Innovation final this year are:

• Bricks: Parkstone Grammar School; Porchester School; Bournemouth Collegiate School; Bishop of Winchester Comprehensive School.

• Viridis: Parkstone Grammar School; Talbot Heath School.

• Estupendo: Corfe Hills School.

• SwipEase: Poole High School.

• Yoyo: Bryanston School.

• INJESS'T: Talbot Heath School; Bishop of Winchester Comprehensive School; Parkstone Grammar School.

• Purple Panda: Porchester School; Bournemouth Collegiate School; Bishop of Winchester Comprehensive School.

• Glen Coco: Bryanston School.

• Epilimnion: St Edward's RC C of E School, Poole.

• MAJESTIC: The Grange School.

• Sigma: Parkstone Grammar School; Talbot Heath School.

• I.S.E: Lytchett Minster School.

• Spirit:The Purbeck School.

• Unite-Teens: Talbot Heath School; Porchester School; Bournemouth Collegiate School; Bishop of Winchester Comprehensive School.

• Cheeky But Bryanston: Bryanston School.

• Lux: Clayesmore School.

• LOOPS: Poole High School.

• Accelerate: Parkstone Grammar School; Glenmoor School For Girls; Talbot Heath School.

The competition between these companies will be fierce with each company hoping to impress the judges with their report, trade stand and presentation.
